To equip, encourage, nurture, love, and help every believer reach his/her full potential in order to further the Kingdom of God.
First Assembly of God is committed to the Biblical Mandate found in Ephesians 4:11-16 "And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love".
We believe every believer is:
1. created for ministry (Eph. 2:10)
2. saved for ministry (2 Tim. 1:9)
3. called to ministry (1 Peter 2:9-10)
4. commanded to ministry (Matthew 20:26-28)
5. trained for ministry (Eph. 4:11-12)
6. needed for ministry (1 Cor. 12:27)
7. rewarded for ministry (Col. 3:23-24)

Today, July 8, 2018 was a really good day. We had an awesome church service when I preached a message on "Talents; use them or Lose Them". We then had the pleasure of having a good family meal with one of our grandsons, Costner. We even got to see Hazel and Moses, the dogs. God is so good!
